[471] Transformation of The Unknown

Starve your illusions
Sever all attachments
Feel things rather
than simply know them
Wisdom is the journey
you take with an incomplete
statue called knowledge
Refine it until
it becomes specific
to you and you alone
Until that statue becomes
a reflection of your higher self
you carried with you
from the unknown

  1. Oh. My. God. Your writing just gets better and better, my friend! I absolutely love this one, especially this part:

    “Until that statue becomes
a reflection of your higher self
    you carried with you
    from the unknown”

Phenomenal, Rahul. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. It’s a blessing to know you 🙏🏻🖤🤗

    1. That was the same quote I was gonna use to compliment Rahul on this poem. You beat me to it, Ace, so I will just tag onto your comment. Yes, “especially this part…”

  2. Free verse is probably the hardest for a poet to master because it has no rules. I believe you have achieved that effortlessly! Your poem has such a smooth flow! It reminds me of the lessons of the Bhagavad Gita. Really beautiful!

      1. Yes that happens, sometimes we just write while keeping one perspective in mind but after when we have completed, we realise there could be other metaphorical and deep meanings as well
        That’s the beauty of poetry!!
And I think poems written by you always carry deep meanings!
        Keep it up!☺️
